At 9:30 am on June 23th, 2016, professor Mi Jianing, the director of Harbin Institute of Technology and Public Management Journal, attended the Public Management Journal and gave a wonderful, academic lecture named the Writing Skills and the need to publish of academic papers in Public Management for young teachers and graduates.

The forum was hosted by Zhuo Yue, the deputy dean of the department of Public Affairs at Xiada. He gave a brief introduction of Public Management Journal.

Mi Jianing started his lecture by a question,Which kind of paper is needed by Public Management Journal? Later he illustrated how to write academic papers about public management.He pointed out that scholars should tell stories related to questions using academic language about the real situation of China. Then Mi discussed the evolution of social science research paradigm and introduced the dynamic Mathematical Statistics, which is a modeling system that stresses the importance of big data.

At the question and answer session, young teachers asked some questions about contributions and methodologies. Professor Mi answered them perfectly and impressed the students deeply. The Public and MPA Forum ended with hearty rounds of applause.
